Two Sparrows Consulting President to Conduct Webinar of Overdraft Regulation Changes
MONTVALE, NJ -November 16, 2009 – Paul Tomasofsky, President of Two Sparrows Consulting, LLC will
participate in a webinar on overdraft regulation changes as part of Bankerstuff.com's webinar series. The
webinar will be conducted on December 3rd.
In the webinar, Mr. Tomasofsky will discuss impacts to the financial services industry as a result of the
release of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve final rules on Overdraft services. The
Overdraft rules prohibit financial institutions from charging consumers fees for paying overdrafts on
automated teller machine (ATM) and one-time debit card transactions, unless a consumer consents, or
opts in, to the overdraft service for those types of transactions. The rules, issued under Regulation E,
which implements the Electronic Fund Transfer Act, become effective July 1, 2010.
In addition to Mr. Tomasfsky's presentation, Terry Maher, Partner with Baird, Holm LLP will explain the
particulars of the rules and provide an explanation of compliance requirements. Finally, Ky Tran-Trong,
Counsel, Division of Consumer and Community Affairs, Federal Reserve Board will participate in the
Question and Answer session at the end of the webinar
